Tom Dean


As owner, in running a private pay Home Healthcare agency, there can be many challenges day to day. Tom got his CNA license before the company started providing personal care, because in private pay home health care, when you need service generally you need it "Now". Having his CNA allowed Tom the qualifications to fill in briefly if needed in a case. 

 Tom admits there can be many challenges day to day, but he likes what he does and says, "I wouldn't trade problems with anyone." Tom is from Alabama, he is a fan of the University of Alabama, and has a picture of Coach Nick Saban in the lobby. He likes computers and is interested in technology.

Kim Dean


As Owner, Kim brings the heart and the mind of the company together! She attended Virginia Tech and has a strong business background. One of her many strengths is building a strong team of caring people who together make a great home care experience. She previously owned a mortgage brokerage firm and managed collection agency. Kim’s excelled in many sports, and really enjoys golf and tennis.

Dawn Pudlin, Certified Dementia Practitioner

General Manager

Dawn moved from New York to SW Florida in 2005.  She manages Comfort Keepers in Lee, Collier and Charlotte Counties. She has been a caregiver since her late teens and had worked in home health and hospice care in New York before moving to Florida. She has also worked in different aspects of senior living including assisted living where she found her true calling in memory care. "This is where I found my true passion with Alzheimer's and dementia clients."  She is a certified Dementia Practitioner who often plays a role in educating families so they can better enjoy time with their loved ones. “My greatest joy is when we are the caregivers so that the family can have quality time with their loved one. Time is so precious. “

LeAnna Bates

Collier Coordinating Manager

LeAnna Bates moved here from Ohio in 2001. She was a realtor and also worked with elder law.  She started here at Comfort Keepers in 2011 in our scheduling department and now is managing our care team in Collier County. LeAnna prides herself with the relationship that she has with our seniors. She said her passion is having that one on one with them and making sure that they have exactly what they need.

Samantha Richard

Assistant to the General Manager

Samantha comes to us all the way from Ontario Canada where she worked in Market Research for 8 years.  At Comfort Keepers, Samantha started in scheduling and was quickly promoted to our accounting department where she has worked for the past year and a half. She has now been promoted to the assistant to our General Manager. In this position she will support the Care teams, assuring a great customer service experience amongst many other responsibilities.  Samantha states that she discovered her love of Seniors when she moved to SW Florida.

Elmer Roberts

Territory Business Development Manager

Elmer Roberts is our Territory Business Development Manager. In his role with Comfort Keepers he continues to grow Lee county while mentoring our other Business Development Representatives in other counties of SW Florida. Mr. Roberts has more than fifteen years of experience in the medical field, focusing on territory growth and development of Community relationships.  Before joining Comfort Keepers, he was with USMC, HCA (Hospital Corp. of America) Healthcare System, and other valuable learning organizations.

Ellen Reilly

Business Development for Collier County

Ellen J. Reilly is our Business Development for Collier County. Ms. Reilly has more than thirty years of experience in complimentary areas of healthcare focusing on managing multi-site and cross functional practices to strategic planning and analytical acumen. Before joining Comfort keepers, she was with the IPC Hospitalist Group, ManorCare and HIN Healthcare as their SWFL Regional Director.

Debbie Nicholas

Business Development for Charlotte County

Debbie Nicholas has been with Comfort Keepers since September 2017 in the role of

 Business Development Representative, in the Port Charlotte, Florida area. Debbie relocated back to Florida from Atlanta, GA since she lived in Sarasota, Fl for many years and missed the Florida sunshine and fishing! While in Atlanta, Debbie did Sales and Marketing in the medical industry. Debbie is extremely compassionate about her position at Comfort Keeper’s and loves to spread the word in the community about the wonderful services Comfort Keepers has to offer to help our seniors stay in the comfort of their own homes.

Melissa Kline

HR Manager

Melissa moved here from PA in 2017.  She has her BS in HR from Geneva Christian College and has been working in HR for 6 years.  Melissa joined the Comfort Keeper family in January of 2018 and said that she enjoys meeting new employees and likes her work family here. Everyone is so supportive.

Lisa Armstrong

Marketing Coordination Manager

Lisa is a long time Lee County Resident, with a background in the fund-raising business. When her mother developed Alzheimer’s Disease, she realized her passion for the elder population and started working for Comfort Keepers in 2012. Lisa is our Marking Coordination Manger supporting all three territories. She is a volunteer with LeeHealth as a certified leader for both their Chronic Disease Self Management program and Chronic Pain Self Management Program. She is also certified to lead the Powerful Tools For Caregivers program through the Area Agency On Aging. Lisa states that she loves working for Comfort keepers because the company is passionate about what they do and how they can keep seniors safe in their own home.

Faith Kohler

HR Generalist/Admin Manager

Faith started working for Comfort Keepers in 2012 as a caregiver. She then joined our office team in 2015 and is now our HR Generalist and Admin Manager. She moved to Florida to care for her sister and brother in law. Caregiving and customer service has always come natural to her. She said that she loves working for Comfort Keepers because of the opportunities that the company offers. Faith states that she is a prime example of a Career Comfort Keeper!
